Deccan Cliffhanger 2024
Deccan Cliffhanger 11th Edition, India's Premier RAAM Qualifier, a prestigious and challenging ultra-cycling race from Pune to Goa, known for its rigorous course and high standards of sportsmanship, will be organised on 16th - 17th November 2024.
WSSM is super excited to be the Officiating Partner with Inspire India for DC 2024.
We are on a look out for qualified and passionate individuals to join the WSSM Officiating team for the Deccan Cliffhanger 11th Edition.
About Officiating at DC
As an official, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of the event by overseeing race regulations, ensuring fair play, supporting participants, and contributing to the smooth functioning of the event.
Officials Overview:

Marshal the course of the race from start line to finish line and monitor racers and crews to ensure compliance with rules during the race;

The role will include driving, navigating, communications, managing control points, taking responsibility of fellow team members’ safety, and additionally photography and social media.
A detailed Official's Job Description will be provided to all the Officials when selected for the role.
Requirements:

Strong interest in endurance sports, especially cycling

Excellent communication and coordination skills

Prior experience in sports officiating, volunteering at cycling events, or ultra-endurance sports is preferred but not mandatory

Ability to work long hours, including early mornings and late nights

Should be available for the role from early morning on 16th November 2024, until late night 17th November 2024.

Should be able to follow ALL instructions given by the Race Director / Race management.
