Panhala - Pawankhind - Vishalgad Cycle Tour

Join us for a fun-filled three-day cycling ride from one of the iconic places in Southern Maharashtra. The ride is designed to follow one of the historic events.

Tick the ride off your bucket list if you haven't done it before, and get along your family and friends.

Date: Friday-Saturday-Sunday, 14th-16th July 2023.

Difficulty: Moderate-Hard (Recommended for participants with some practice from 13 years up to 70 years, friends, and family with average fitness.)

NON-CYCLING family and friends are welcome to accompany in their own vehicle.

Itinerary -

Day 1: Travel to Panhala and Panhala Fort Cycle Tour (approximately 5 km)

Start the travel from Pune to Panhala at 7:00am. After having breakfast, reach Pahanala fort around 1:00pm. Lunch, bike assembly and rest till 3:30pm, followed by a guided tour of Panhala fort starting at 4:30pm. The tour will take around 1 hrs 30 mins, after which everyone will have a choice to either stay at the hotel and rest, or cycle up nearby Jyotiba climb.

Delicious Kolhapuri Dinner in the evening around 8:00pm.

Day 2: Panhala to Vishalgad via Pawankhind (80.5 kms)

Scenic ride after Malkapur, with amazing roads and less traffic. Exploring Pawankhind on the way to Vishalgad fort.

The ride ends at Vishalgad, but participants can continue to ride through the amazing Sahyadrinagar forest on our way to Amba.

Awesome roads, almost no traffic and riding through some of the most scenic roads in the sahyadri range in southern Maharashtra.

Day 3: Amba to Karad via Malkapur (69 kms)

The last day of the tour starts from Amba and finishes at Karad via Malkapur.

The road from Malkapur to Karad is one of the most amazing roads to cycle on. We cycle alongside windmills and valleys, which provide plenty of photo opportunities.

Day 2 (15th July 2023) Ride Package (Panhala to Vishalgad only) -

2. From 1st June 2023 to 30th June 2023: Rs 2,695 /-  including gst 

Inclusions:

Comprehensive Tour package (14th to 16th July 2023) includes

1. Accommodation in comfortable hotels on 14th and 15th July 2023, on twin sharing basis
2. Breakfast, Lunch, evening tea and dinner on Day 1 and 2, and Breakfast and Lunch on Day 3

Day 2 (15th July 2023) Ride Package (Panhala to Vishalgad only) includes

4. A backup vehicle following the cyclist along the route
5. A narrative on history at particular places along the route

Exclusions:

1. Any expenses of personal nature
2. Meals and beverages other than those mentioned
3. Any costs arising from replacements of cycle parts incase of technical issues
4. All other services not specifically mentioned in the above ‘inclusions’

Mandatory equipment to be carried by the participants –

1. Cycle
2. Cycling helmet
3. Comfortable T-shirt, short or 3/4th. (Jeans and formals not recommended)
4. Good quality sport shoes while riding. (No floaters or flip-flops)
5. Cap.
6. Water bottle. (3 litres)
7. Extra set of clothes.
8. Zip-lock bag for wallet, mobile and camera.
9. Shoulder bag. (Haversack)
10. Personal medicines, if any.

Cancellation: Tour Cancellation charges are applicable on actual full tour price

Before 30 days – Full Refund.

Between 30 – 20 days - 80% of the tour cost will be refunded.

Between 20 – 10 days - 50% of the tour cost will be refunded

Less than 10 days 0% - No refund.
